Standards
I mean is it too much to ask young people to be able to identify the following items of ecclesiastical garb prior to being admitted to Communion?
Standards - that's our problem - too few standards!
No, it's not a Vimpa Billy, it's a Humeral Veil!
Yes, Wally, "Vimpa" would be worth quite a lot on a triple word score in Scrabble but will you please pay attention and stop changing the subject!

Do I win?
Almost but not quite. Two wrong and one probably-mostly right.
"B" is an alb (a lacy one like the one I don't [yet] own). "I" is a humeral veil. "M" is more a cotta than a surplice. A bit too short to be a surplice.
Thank you. I'm always looking for useful Scrabble words with a "v" in them!
I think I identified them all correctly...
But what does such knowledge have to do with being fed spiritually by eating with the community... it is communion, another word for community... being formed and transformed, being forming and transforming. It is not a diploma, just sacred food...
